Please get in touch if you would like to discuss an upcoming project or creative collaboration. By its nature The Salvage Press is nomadic but every effort will be made to accommodate the right projects, especially those which value and help promote the power of good design, typography and letterpress printing. I’m particularly interested in creating finely printed artists’ books.

My last extended placement was with Justin Knopp at his letterpress workshop, Typoretum, Colchester, UK. Here I experimented with wood and metal types on a variety of printing presses including an 1851 Hopkinson & Cope, an 1831 Columbian, a 1960’s Heidelberg platen, a 1960’s Geitz parallel platen, 1960’s Farley proofing presses and a beautiful 1888 Wharfedale Stop Cylinder press.

I’m currently the Letterpress Printer at Distillers Press, NCAD, Dublin.

I’m very keen to visit and learn from letterpress practitioners and book artists. If you are interested in allowing me to visit your studio or to simply talk about type, letterpress printing or books then please make contact at your earliest convenience.
